This is of both the forward view, a view of the driver, and if required a rear view as well. This footage is transmitted over a Trafalgar Wireless connection to the HD Fleet cloud based application. In the event of crash, the footage can then be used to provide evidence to exonerate drivers. This can significantly reduce fleet insurance costs. In this video, we see footage of a rear-end collision, which was captured by the HD Fleet service, and enabled the fleet to avoid expensive litigation and increased insurance costs.
